I was Camp Hosting.
Duties
Look after 47 sites
Plus1 large Day use fee area
Clean Campsites, dig out firepits, Bar B Q's, and around the sites
Made sure Bathrooms were kept clean and with supplies
2 sets flush bathrooms, 2 sets of pit toilets down at Day Use
Around 6 am round and 10 pm quite time rounds daily
Only Camp Host
Collected fees for camping
Helped people with reservations sites
Hung Reservation Slips On Sites for the day incoming
Collected Day Use Fees
Gave information for Reservations and Areas
Drove a John Deer 6 wheel Gator around
Picked up trash along the roads and river banks
Help Make the Campgrounds, roads leading to the Campgrounds
and the Day Use a Clean Area
Called Rangers or Visitor Center for problems.
Inform Campers and Day Use People of Animals that were around so they would
keep their ice chest and food packed away.
Helped people with fishing information
Had fun with campers, Rangers and all workers. Enough for a new book called
"King of Cottonwood"
